Refund policy
All Sales Are Final, With Limited Exceptions
Due to the natural, one-of-a-kind nature of our rock, mineral, and fossil specimens, all sales are final unless the item arrives damaged in transit or is materially different from its listing description.
- Inspection window: Buyers must inspect items immediately upon delivery and report any issue within 48 hours of the delivery date/time shown by the carrier's tracking. Claims made after this window will not be honored.
- Damage claims: Buyer must provide (a) unedited photos/video of the item, packaging, and shipping box as received, and (b) the original order number. Failure to retain original packaging may void the claim.
-
No returns for:
- Buyer's remorse, change of mind, or "not as expected" based on personal taste
- Natural variations in color, inclusions, matrix, size, or crystal formation, as these are inherent to natural specimens and not considered defects
- Restocking fee: In the rare case a return is approved at the Company's sole discretion, a 20–25% restocking fee applies, and original/return shipping costs are non-refundable and borne by the buyer.
- Refund method: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Processing may take up to 14 business days.
- No price adjustments for items purchased before a subsequent sale or price drop.
- Authenticity disputes: Company-issued identification (species, locality) reflects our good-faith expert opinion at time of sale. Buyer acknowledges that mineral/fossil identification can involve reasonable scientific disagreement and that such disagreement alone is not grounds for return.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, or exchanges to any customer at any time, for any reason, including suspected abuse of this policy.
